PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively feed ions to an object while keeping a high distribution density of the ions by preventing the ions generated by an ion generation part from diffusing into an air stream in a blowing path or from being neutralized and disappearing in a blower for a hair drier, etc., provided with an ion generator. SOLUTION: The blower is provided with a cylindrical main body case 1 for housing a fan 6 and a motor 7 for driving the fan, an ion generation part 15 for generating the ions, and an ion path 21 for moving and guiding the ions generated by the ion generation part 15, which is provided in a cylinder 54 constituting the ion path 21. At the cylinder 54, an entrance 40 for permitting passing through of wind generated by the fan 6 and an exit 41 for blowing out the ions moved by the wind having passed through are formed. At the sidewall of the cylinder 54, a notch 55 for taking-in the wind generated by the fan 6 is formed.
