PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste water for a washing machine which washes articles to be washed using an alkaline water or an acidic water. SOLUTION: When the alkaline water is fed into a washing tank 2 as a washing water, tap water is fed into this generating device 21 from a first water feeding valve 23 through a water guiding pipe 24. At the same time, a power-turning on circuit 58 is operated, and a voltage is applied between a central electrode plate 37 and a front electrode plate 38 and a rear electrode plate 39. The tap water which has flowed into an electrolytic tank 28 from a tap water inlet 41 is stored in a central electrolytic chamber 34. At the same time, the tap water flows into a front electrolytic chamber 35 and a rear electrolytic chamber 36 through a communicating section 48, and is stored in these electrolytic chambers as well. By an electrolysis, the acidic water is generated in the central electrolytic chamber, and the alkaline water is generated in the front and rear electrolytic chambers. The acidic water is not discharged to the outside, and only the alkaline water flows out, and is introduced into the washing tank 2. |
