PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health food capable of curing malaise, capable of improving liver function, and useful for preventing liver function failure. SOLUTION: This health food contains at least each of extracted substances or dried substances of six kinds of plants comprising silybum marianum, Curcuma domestica, Panax notoginseng, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Panax ginseng, and Cassia obtusifolia. The extracted substances or dried substances preferably comprise each of extracts or dried powders of the whole body, seeds, roots or stems of the six kinds of the plants. The health food preferably contains at least each of the extracted substances of the six kinds of the plants, wherein the extracted substances comprise the extracts which are given by using water, pure ethanol, or a mixture of the water and the ethanol as an extractant. The health food is preferably formed into tablets to which a vehicle, such as cellulose and lactose, is further added. |
