PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture even a side cover of a complicated shape by using a relatively inexpensive metal mold, simply carry out assembling and utilize the side cover as a polyfunctional member, in a harvester equipped with a pretreating part for harvesting and an operating part on the left and the right sides and the side cover in the front and rear directions in a site on the lateral side on the side of the pretreating part in the operating part. SOLUTION: This structure for the operating part of the harvester is obtained as follows. The side cover 20 is composed by superimposing and connecting a left and a right blocks 20A and 20B formed into a hollow state by blow molding. A mounting hole 37 for mounting a switch is provided in the block 20A on the side of the operating part and a space(s) for housing the switch is formed between the left and the right blocks 20A and 20B.
