PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for exactly measuring the transpiration of the moisture content transpirated from the skin of a subject without receiving the influence of the degrees of flowing of air around a probe or the like. SOLUTION: A probe 2 is brought into tight contact with the skin SK of the subject and the moisture transpirated from the skin SK and the natural air supplied from a compressor 6 are mixed in the hermetic space formed in the probe 2. In the process that this mixture is discharged in the form of a mixture composed of the air and the moisture into the atmosphere from a discharge passage 5, when the absolute humidity of the natural air is detected by an absolute humidity sensor 10 and the absolute humidity of the mixture composed of the air and the moisture is detected by an absolute humidity sensor 11, the difference between the absolute humidity of the mixture composed of the air and the moisture and the absolute humidity of the natural air attains the value corresponding to the moisture content transpirated from the skin SK and therefore the moisture content transpirated from the skin SK of the subject can be exactly measured without being affected by the degrees of the flow of the air around the probe 2.
