PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker adapted to boil rice in a pot removably stored in a rice cooker body, capable of uniformly heating the pot to prevent uneven boiling and attain good heating efficiency by restraining variation in the vertical dimension between the pot and an induction coil. SOLUTION: The pot 2 is removably housed in the rice cooker body 1. The storing part of the pot 2 is formed by an upper frame 5 and a protective frame 3, an induction coil 10 is disposed on the outer surface of a bottom 9 of the protective frame 3, and an upper peripheral part 6 of the pot 2 is placed to support the pot by a pot support member 8 mounted on an upper end part 7 of the upper frame 5. As the pot support member 8, a plurality of members different in thickness in the vertical direction are previously provided. According to the size in the vertical direction from the upper end part 7 of the upper frame 5 to the bottom 9 of the protective frame 3, the pot support members 8 different in thickness are selected and mounted.
