PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein in a tractor, or the like, equipped with a so-called back up-controlling device for elevating a working part synchro nized with a retreating operation, since the control is performed by the on and off of a switch at hand, it is troublesome to operate it when states requiring such control and not requiring the control are generated at random. SOLUTION: This operation unit is provided by installing two retreat operation positions for a guide 3 of an advance and retreat-switching lever, setting one of the retreat-operating positions as a non operation position R1 not actuating the back up-controlling device and another retreat-operating position as an operation position R2 for actuating the back up-controlling device. Also, the both operating positions are made as those capable of being switched with a guiding member 4.
