PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive apparatus of simple structure for storing rearing animals with which a layout in a room is extremely readily changed while securing the nice operation space of a rearing technician or researcher. SOLUTION: This apparatus for storing the rearing animals is equipped with a transportable rack body 11, an exhaust fan 26 and a connection duct 25 for discharging air in the rack body 11. A roll screen 12 furnished with an air-impermeable screen 17 is fixed to the opening part 11A of the rack body 11, vent holes 22 are formed at prescribed parts of the screen 17. A check- valve 23 for preventing air-conditioned air from entering the rack body 11 and from flowing from rack body 11 to an air-conditioned chamber by opening and closing the vent holes 22 is arranged at the side of the rack body 11 of the vent holes 22.
