<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas filter having uniformly distributed pores, a proper pressure drop, proper porosity, a proper number of cells, excellent filter characteristics, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent mechanical strengths such as tensile strength, high heat conductivity and excellent thermal shock resistance. SOLUTION: This waste gas filter is a ceramic waste gas filter having a large number of internal cells arranged axially from the waste gas inlet side toward the outlet side and formed by alternately blocking up the cells with a blocking agent on any one of the waste gas inlet side and outlet side and the axial heat conductivity of the waste gas filter is >=0.1 kcal/mh deg.C, preferably >=0.2 kcal/mh deg.C.</p> |
