<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable players with different levels to participate in a competition for ranking, using an Internet ranking service which lets the participants compete for game scores. SOLUTION: A server 2 providing the service accepts entry procedures from cell phones 3, groups the entering players according to their levels, sets game tasks (characters to be used, stages, etc.), for each group, and delivers the results to each player by e-mail. After playing the game by inputting the tasks to game equipment 5, each player using the cell phone 3 uploads the result of the play into the server 2, which in turn totalizes the results of the play for each group and delivers the rank of each group by e-mail.</p> |
