PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such a problem that a conventional hook-shape safety hook meets an obstacle such as a wall W in the vicinity of the post P, during engagement with a post P, and cannot be engaged with the post P when a space between the post P and the wall W is narrow. SOLUTION: Four link members 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b are connected into a pantograph-shape. Then, two link members 1a and 1b are extended, and a grip section is formed. Also, a coil spring 4 and hooks 5 are provided. In this case, the coil spring 4 generates an urging force in the direction to expand a distance between two fulcrums 31 and 32. The hooks 5 are connected to each other under a state that both fulcrums 31 and 32 are neared to each other while resisting the urging force by the coil spring 4. When the hooks 5 are disengaged, the grip section is closed by the urging force of the coil spring 4.
