PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet, which allows an aged person or the like to easily strain with his or her head bent forward while he or she sits thereon. SOLUTION: The portable toilet comprises a toilet bowl suspending plate provided between a pair of leg plates 1 and 1, a toilet bowl suspended therefrom, a toilet seat 2 attached to the suspending plate above the toilet bowl with hinges, a seat plate 3 additionally provided such that it can cover the toilet seat 2, and a pair of supports 51 provided perpendicularly on each of a pair of base plates 5, each of which supports 51 has a plurality of female screw holes 52 vertically arranged thereon. The leg plates 1 can be fixed to the front and rear supports 51 on the base plates 5 with screws at female screw holes 52 selected such that front and rear ones are different in height from each other.
