PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inexpensive surgical implement by sharing a surgical implement main body. SOLUTION: The surgical operation implement 1 is provided with the operation implement body 2, a probe unit 3 to be freely attached/detached to/from the operation implement body 2, and a grip member 24 which is freely rotatably supported by the operation implement body 2 so as to face the side part of the end of the probe unit 3 and grasps organism tissue with the end of the probe unit 3. The probe unit 3 includes an ultrasonic prove 3A for performing an ultrasonic treatment to viable tissue or a heat female probe 3B for performing a thermal treatment to the viable tissue. The operation implement 1 includes a temperature measuring element 61 for measuring the temperature of the grip member 24. Then energy supplied from the operation implement body 2 to one of the probes 3A and 3B is controlled based on data which is obtained by measuring temperature through the use of the temperature measuring element 61.
