PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the handleability and appearance of a desk by devising a structure for hiding codes for a power source and cables for communication beautifully and functionally thereby using a desktop widely in the desk composed of a desk top plate and its supporting bodies. SOLUTION: The desk 1 is composed of the desk top plate 55, its box-like supporting bodies 6 and 7, and an attachable and detachable end rail 10 below the desk top plate 55. The desk top plate 55 consists of a plate body 5 having at least one code insertion holes 4 bored thereon and a skirt body 12 formed at the lower part of the plate body 5. Then, a code 9 inserted from the code insertion hole 4 is put through the inside of the skirt body 12 and through the inside of the end rail 10 to be spread inside of the supporting bodies 6 and 7 to be guided to an inlet 8 for a power source.
