<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator with which the moisture content of a discharged heavy component or the concentrated degree of a treated liquid can be controlled by removing the clogging due to foreign matter which often occurs in a part in the vicinity of a bowl inner circumferential surface no matter what the separator is stopped or under operation, in a structure of discharging only a part of low moisture content in the vicinity of the bowl inner circumferential surface. SOLUTION: In the case that a checking member for introducing only the separated heavy component to a discharge passage is a dip wear 23, the flow resistance is controlled by adjusting a gap between the tip and the inside surface of the bowl. The gap between the inside surface of the bowl and the tip of the dip wear 23 is controlled by forming an inclined surface 28 on the inside of the bowl and sliding the dip wear 23 in the rotary axis direction of the bowl or a screw conveyer.</p> |
