PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grasping auxiliary appliance for carrying article which facilitates attaching and detaching of the grasping part of an article housing means such as a film back, which regulates rocking of the grasping part in the case of carrying the means and which relieves pressure contact of the auxiliary appliance to the hand for carrying an article safely, and to provide a method for manufacturing the appliance. SOLUTION: In order to facilitate fitting of the grasping part 5 into a tubular body 2 and to relieving pressure contact of both of the side ends 6a and 6b inserting the notch 3 of the tubular body 2 to the hand, the side ends 6a and 6b are formed into curved surfaces which have no corner. On the inner peripheral surface of the tubular body 2, a plurality of wrinkle parts 7 for preventing sliding of the grasping part 5 in the tubular body 2 are formed.
