PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost gripping member of a fishing reel having good outer surface property in molding and rich in good appearance. SOLUTION: This gripping member 14 is arranged in the fishing reel and gripped with a hand and molded by pouring a melted resin into a mold. In the gripping member 14, a gate 32 molded when molding the resin is positioned on the inside which does not appear on the appearance of the formed article 14 molded in the mold.
