PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module manufacturing method by which a high-quality hollow fiber membrane module can easily and surely be obtained regardless of the size of a housing to be used and to provide a clamping tool used for the hollow fiber membrane module manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane module manufacturing method comprises a step to insert the tip part of a bundle 4 of hollow fiber membranes into the housing 2 consisting of a cylindrical body from the opened part of the housing 2, a step to inject a fixing resin into a resin injecting part 10 between the bundle 4 and the inner peripheral wall of the housing 2 and solidify the injected resin while clamping the bundle 4 by the clamping tool having a clamping mechanism 14 almost vertically. The clamping tool has the mechanism 14 for clamping almost vertically the bundle 4 whose tip part is inserted into the housing 2.
