PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope ladder for evacuation which can be attached to any place of an opening such as a window of a building, and in addition, can extend a period of time in which the evacuation is possible by changing the attaching place in order to eliminate such problems that a conventional rope ladder is installed at a specified place such as an emergency exit or a veranda, and cannot be used when flames or smoke reach the installation place at the time of a calamity, and awful incidents wherein people die frequently occur. SOLUTION: This rope ladder for evacuation has a rotating shaft 4 and a rope ladder main body 6 one end of which is fixed to the rotating shaft 4, and which is openably wound. The rope ladder is equipped with a fastener- receiving section 1 which is attached in the vicinity of the opening X of a building, and a fastening section 2 which is detachably fastened to the fastener- receiving section 1. Also, the rope ladder has an attaching member 3, the rotating shaft 4, and the rope ladder main body 6. In this case, the base section of the fastener section 2 is attached to the attaching member 3. The rotating shaft 4 is rotatably attached to the attaching member 3. One end of the rope ladder main body 6 is attached to the rotating shaft 4, and the rope ladder main body 6 is openably wound.
