FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has housing with delivery and expansion sets, each provided with ring piston, and external combustion chamber connected in turn to said sets. Design peculiarity of engine is that delivery and expansion sets are arranged coaxially in common ring chamber and are separated from each other by common floating ring piston. Engine is furnished with mechanism to impart plane-parallel circular motion to floating ring piston. Said mechanism is mounted on one of end face walls of ring chamber. Intake and outlet ports of delivery and expansion seat are made in opposite distributing end face wall of ring chamber. Said ports are separated from each other by corresponding movable cross partitions. Combustion chamber is arranged from outer side of distributing end face wall, and its housing is furnished with mechanism for displacement relative to said wall. Chamber has also flat with ports periodically registered with corresponding ports of delivery and expansion sets. EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine in operation. 15 cl, 27 dwg |
