FIELD: manufacture of thin-web shape members, possibly in building and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: thin-web shape member has web corrugations including rectilinear and curvilinear portions arranged separately and also passing one to another. Generatrices of said corrugations are arranged normally relative to lengthwise axis of shape member. Moment of inertia of cross section of corrugation relative to its neutral axis for length unit of corrugation wave is determined according to expression given in description of invention. Mutual relation of set parameters of cross corrugations, relation of set parameters to web height of shape member and to strength characteristics of material provide enhanced carrying capacity of member. EFFECT: lowered consumption of material of shape member at cross bending, shear, lengthwise and cross compression and at their combinations. 16 dwg, 1 ex |
