FIELD: machine engineering, possibly operations for working openings in blanks by means of axial tool. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying amplitude modulated ultrasonic oscillations simultaneously to cutting tool in radial-axial direction and to cutting fluid in front of cutting zone and in zones of contact of tool and blank. It provides intensified penetrability of cutting fluid and decreases friction between cutting tool and blank. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of working, increased time period of keeping strength of cutting tool. 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
