PURPOSE: A system and a method for a bus AD(ADvertisement) are provided to enable passengers to use a bus freely or with discount fare by hearing the AD broadcasting, and to settle the fare to a bus company by receiving the AD charge from advertisers. CONSTITUTION: An AD device(31) plays the AD sound information by installing to each bus. A fare reading device(30) placing to each bus company reads the fare information from an RF(Radio Frequency) fare adjustment device(32) of the bus and transmits it together with the ID information of the bus company through the communication network. A discount ratio database(21) stores the discount information of each bus company according to a contract with each bus company. An account information database(22) stores the account information of each bus company. When the fare information and the ID information are received from the fare reading device(31) of each bus company, a settlement server(50) automatically transfers the amount applying the discount to an account of the bus company from a settlement account by linking with each database. |
