摘要 PURPOSE: An emotion assessment system and method is provided to perform a real time emotion assessment over the internet by extracting plural measured physiological signal features and using a defined rule base on a basis of a two dimensional complex emotion model. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. An EEC(electroencephalogram), a PPG(Plethysmogram), and an SKT(kin Temperature) signal are measured by using sensors(201). A multiplexor selects addresses for the measured signals and the measured signals are transmitted to a sampling amp hold. The transmitted signals are converted into digital signals via an AD converter, and transmitted to a buffer. Then a clock is generated for synchronizing a multiple data transmission of the packet unit, and the buffer transmits the digital signals to a server of an emotion assessment system if an interrupt occurs(202). Each frequency feature is extracted from the measured signals(203), and normalized for expressing a current state fluctuation(204). The initial emotion values are initialized by using surveyed subjective emotion data, e.g. a tension and a release or a comfort and a discomfort(205). A user inputs subjective emotion states on a monitor, and then the subjective emotion value on the physiological signal is checked(206). A neutral emotion band is adjusted by using the input subjective emotion state and the measured physiological signals(207). The normalized physiological signal feature is accessed on a basis of a rule base, and an emotional state is assessed(208), and is filtered for eliminating a noise(209). The physiological signals and the emotion assessment result are stored at a database(210), and an emotion indicator displayed on a monitor in a real time(211).
