PURPOSE: Provided is a lithium polymer battery having an improved structure which can rapidly exhausting a gas generated from the inside of the battery and ensure the stability of battery. CONSTITUTION: The lithium polymer battery(20) comprises a battery part(21) which is formed by sequentially laminating pluralities of anode plate(23), separator(25), and cathode plate(24); a case(22) which provides a space for receiving the battery; and a fracture layer(220) formed at outside of the case, which is coated along the direction of shrinkage of the case owing to the increase of internal pressure of the battery and is preferentially fractured in comparison with other part to exhaust a gas.
