GAP FILLER HAVING SELF DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION FOR CDM TRANSMISSION SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A gap filler having a self diagnosis function for a CDM transmission signal is provided to continuously monitor transmission signals to offer high-quality transmission signals. CONSTITUTION: A gap filler in a satellite broadcasting system includes a self diagnosis function to judge whether its transmission signal received from a satellite is normal or abnormal. A test is sequentially carried out for thirty-two CDM signals and a channel being in an abnormal state is not transmitted or transmission gain is controlled so as to reduce an interference signal with respect to other channels. When the self diagnosis function is executed, each of a digital part and a radio signal part selectively carries out the function of a demodulator.
