PURPOSE: An apparatus for exposing the face of a panel is provided to improve the exposure of the panel when the panel is enclosed with very sensitive material. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for exposing the face of a panel is provided with a light box assembly(10) and a reflector assembly(12) for distributing the light emitted from the light box assembly. The apparatus further includes two shutters(16a,16b) capable of being adequately moved between the light box assembly and the reflector assembly for shielding or exposing the light box assembly according to each position of the shutters. Preferably, each shutter includes sheet metal parts(18a,18b) and a metal intensifying part(17a,17b) made of fire resistant material.
