PURPOSE: A converter coolant hopper is provided to prevent coolant from congesting inside an injecting pipe so that an appropriate amount of coolant is injected into converter at a proper time by installing an injecting plate slantly vibrated in the bottom space in feeder of the hopper. CONSTITUTION: In a coolant hopper comprising an upper hopper(1) for storing coolant, an injection hopper(4) positioned at the injection port side of converter, and a feeder(2) connected to the hoppers(1,4) by joints so that the feeder(2) guides coolant injected from the upper hopper(1) to the injection hopper(4), the converter coolant hopper comprises a vibrator(3) vibrated forwardly with the vibrator(3) being connected to an intermediate plate(2b) of the discharge port side of the feeder(2); an injection plate(20) which is positioned in the bottom space inside the feeder(2) and bent in such a way that an inclined surface is formed in a coolant injecting direction along the bottom shape of the injection plate(20), and on the upper surface of which irregularities are formed; an inner buffer spring(21) which is shaken according to forward vibration of the vibrator(3) with the inner buffer spring(21) being clamped between a collection part installed on the backside of the injection plate(20) and a member connected to the vibrator(3) so that the injection plate(20) is slantly moved; and an outer buffer spring(3b) one end of which is clamped to the member connected to the vibrator(3), and the other end of which is clamped to the intermediate plate(2b) of the discharge port side of the feeder(2) so that the feeder(2) is shaken according to forward vibration of the vibrator(3).
