PURPOSE: An air conditioner maintenance system using a LONWORKS(Local Operating Network WORKS) system is provided to minimize wiring between nodes by connecting the air conditioners decentralizedly controlled with the LONWORKS system. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises a main control part(240) installed in an indoor unit(20) to transmit and receive working state of the indoor unit and control signal using LONTalk protocol; a sub control part(140) installed in an outdoor unit(10) to transmit and receive working state of the outdoor unit and control signal to and from the main control part through a TP(Twisted-Pair) cable using the LONTalk protocol; an Internet connecting part(40) connected with the main control part through the TP cable for conversion between the LONTalk protocol and Internet communication specification for connection with the Internet; and a maintenance server(50) connected with the Internet to receive trouble state of an air conditioner so as to allow a service center(60) to accept after-sales service request, to check up the corresponding air conditioner using the LONWORKS system, and to control the air conditioner through the Internet, if necessary.
