PURPOSE: Provided is an agent made of starfish, for the removal of heavy metals from heavy metal wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The agent for heavy metal removal is prepared by drying starfish at 90 to 120 deg.C for 1 to 3 hrs; incinerating the dried starfish at 400 to 700 deg.C, followed by crush; and sieving the starfish powder.
