APPARATUS FOR CHECKING DEGREASING OF COLD ROLLED STRIP

PURPOSE: An apparatus for checking degreasing of cold rolled strip is provided to secure safety of worker, reduce measuring error and decrease working time by automatically measuring and judging the cleaning state of the surface of a cleaned strip using a mechanical means. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a base (H) installed on the bottom of a position adjacent to tension bridle roll; a driving motor (M) idly installed at the upper side of one end of the base (H); a screw shaft (W) connected to the driving motor (M) and arranged in a length direction of the base (H) along both ends of the upper surface of the base (H); a moving plate(20) installed at the screw shaft (W) so that the moving plate(20) is moved along the screw shaft (W); an operating cylinder (C) connected to one end of the moving plate(20) to rotate the moving plate(20) and fixed to one cross section of the base (H); a semi-elliptical shaped housing fixed to the upper surface of the moving plate(20); principal axis gear, subsidiary gear and driven gear on some of which a drum is installed, and which are rotationally in gear with each other inside the housing; a touch roll which is fixed to the front end part of the housing and comes into contact with strip coiled around the tension bridle roll; and a degreasing paper(99) that is rotationally coiled on the drum and touch roll by passing through the outer circumferential surface of the drum formed on the principal axis gear and driven gear and the outer circumferential surface of the touch roll.
