PURPOSE: A turbine blade of a torque converter is provided to improve the rigidity without increase of thickness, and to increase transmission torque of the turbine by integrally forming a groove in the contact portion of actuating fluid. CONSTITUTION: A stator is formed in a torque converter to change directions of actuating fluid, a pump, and a turbine. Plural turbine blades(21) are arranged in the turbine wheel at regular interval, and a groove(21a) is integrally formed to a side of the turbine blade contacted to actuating fluid in rotating the pump. The semicircular groove is formed to transmit torque to the stator in rotating the pump and to smooth the flow of actuating fluid while minimizing friction. Performance of the torque converter is improved by increasing the rigidity of the turbine blade with integrally forming the groove in the turbine blade.
