PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for data backup for user data stored in electronic equipment. SOLUTION: As a backup apparatus, a connection means being equipped to electronic equipment having a specific function and enabling a user to access to an electronic equipment side storage means for storing user data specific to every user in response to usage of the electronic equipment making the user enjoy services is equipped, so that it can be connected to the electronic equipment, and back up of the user data of the electronic equipment can be made, by providing a reading control means capable of writing the user data from the storage means connected to the connection means, into a storage means provided with the backup apparatus. By providing a writing control means for copying backed up user data to other equipment, when, for example, the occurrence of failures in the electronic equipment, and when it becomes necessary to store the user data into the other equipment, copying of the user data can be made to the other equipment. |
