PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent safety from being impaired by abnormally high temperature of an operation part mounted on a top plate. SOLUTION: This cooker is composed of a heating part formed on the upper surface of the top plate 12 for mounting and heating a cooking container 20, the operation part 18 mounted on the upper surface of the top plate 12 for inputting conditions for cooking, and an attention attracting means 22 comprising an object detection means 21 formed with an infrared sensor installed below the top plate 12 and a light emission means 22a or a sound generation means 22b for attracting attention. By virtue of this structure, when the cooking container 20 is mounted throughout the region of the heating part and the operation part 18, the infrared sensor detects it and the attention is attracted by blinking of light or buzzer sound, so that a user can be urged to remount the cooking container 20 at a proper position. |
