PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip inductor which has a high Q-value even of an electrode is applied directly to a ferrite core for surface mounting. SOLUTION: The chip inductor uses the ferrite core whose cylinder portion core and leg portion core with a reverse recess shape are bonded and which has a permeability o the cylinder portion core of 140 to 200 and a permeability of the leg portion core of 9 or less.
