PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein in recent years, there is provided a system for notifying that a commodity ordered from a user is in what kind of state currently by electronic mail, and a production division of a manufactur ing plant where many parts are used or the like is constructing an article infor mation collection system in which the situation of an ordered part is queried by electronic mail, the query result is collected as article information to register it on the Web, and related divisions are supplied with the part situation, but, in the article information collection system, a person confirms part information of e-mail notified in response to a query by e-mail, and collects the information as article information and converts it into a Web page to register with a Web server, and, accordingly, the system is unable to provide the latest article infor mation speedily, and the provision of the information takes considerable efforts. SOLUTION: In the article information collection system, a means is provided for updating based on information generated by extracting a Web page describing the article information extracted from reply e-mail sent back to the user. |
