PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that short circuit may be caused at mounting on a circuit board because two external electrodes are too close to each other in a structure in which the external electrodes are provided on a lower box body side in a conventional technique, and a problem that it is hard to gain conduction from an upper box body side in a structure in which the external electrodes are separately provided on the upper and lower box body sides, respectively. SOLUTION: One electrode of a quartz vibrator is connected electrically to an external electrode provided to an end of the lower surface of the lower box body through a through hole. The other electrode is connected electrically to another external electrode provided to an end on the opposite side of the lower surface of the lower box body through a frame-part metal film provided to a frame part of the quartz oscillator, an upper joining member and a lower joining member, so that the two external electrodes are provided on the lower box body side while keeping distance. Consequently, mounting onto the circuit board is easily done.
