PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent indicator tube having improved characteristics and improved reliability. SOLUTION: A driver IC tip 2 is installed on a glass substrate 1 and wirings 3 are formed on the glass substrate 1. Every electrode of the driver IC tip 2 is connected with a corresponding wiring 3 using a bonding wire 4. A coating member 5a is formed covering a part of electrodes of the driver IC tip and the bonding wires 4 connected to these electrodes.
