PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic chime whose volume control handle is usually covered but can be exposed when necessary. SOLUTION: A cover 2 is held at a body 1 with a piece of hook 122D which is provided on the body 1 and abuts on one end of the cover 2; and a fixation screw 8a which passes through a through-hole 7 provided in the vicinity of the other end part of the cover 2. The cover 2 is guided by sliding relative to the body 1 since the guidance claw provided on the cover 2 abuts on the external wall of the body 2 from the inside. The through-hole 7 is provided with a hole 7a elongated along the sliding direction of the cover 2. An opening part 23a which exposes a volume control handle 6a when the cover 2 is slid relative to the body 1 is provided on the cover 2.
