APPARATUS FOR FIXING FAN CASE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing a fan case of an air conditioner is provided to allow the fan case to be easily manufactured and installed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus includes a supporting member(31) having both ends supported by a rear side of a body part(22) of a fan case and an inside of a main body(10), respectively, and having a hollow part(31a); a joining hole(33) formed on a lower rear side of the body part of the fan case for fixing the supporting member; and a bolt type coupling member(32) for coupling the supporting member. Only one of the supporting members is installed on a lower central part of the body part of the fan case to minimize flowing resistance of air flowing into a rear inlet(20b) of the fan case. A fixing part(34) is formed on a rear side of the body part of the fan case around the joining hole for an end of the supporting member to be inserted and fixed thereto. The coupling member is inserted to penetrate the joining hole and the hollow part of the supporting member in the fan case, and coupled to a coupling hole(16a) of a motor fixing plate(16) installed on an inside of the main body while the supporting member is placed on the fixing part.
