TRANSPARENT ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE FILM AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A transparent electrically conductive film and an organic electroluminescence device using the film are provided, to improve the transparency and the heat resistance and to reduce the surface resistance. CONSTITUTION: The transparent electrically conductive film comprises a substrate made of an aliphatic polyimide having a repeating unit represented by the formula I, and a transparent electrically conductive thin film layer formed on the substrate, wherein R is a tetravalent aliphatic group of C4-C39 and phi is a divalent aliphatic group of C1-C39 or a divalent aromatic group of C6-C39. Preferably at least one gas barrier layer made of silicon oxide and/or silicon nitride is laminated on the transparent electrically conductive thin film layer. Preferably the aliphatic polyimide has a glass transition temperature of 250 deg.C or more.
