PURPOSE: A heat responding type steam strap is provided to improve stability and to lengthen the life span of a steam strap by making a valve member face-to-face contact with a placing unit. CONSTITUTION: A heat responding type steam strap(1) comprises a valve housing(10) forming an inlet(12), an outlet(14), and a valve chamber(16) with an upper housing member(10a) and a lower housing member(10b) combined via a connecting unit(60), a semi-circular placing unit(20) formed adjacent to the outlet of the lower housing member, a temperature control element(30) placed in the valve chamber and including a rigid capsule(32) and a diaphragm(36), a valve member(40) having a semi-spherical end portion and supported on the diaphragm, and an elastic member(50) of which one end is deflected contacting to the bottom face of the lower housing member.
