The mooring system consists of a stainless steel bar (9) spring-loaded inside a tube (7) and pivoted to a cross-member (4) so it can slide along a semi-circular bar (3) on two U-shaped end swivels (2), allowing the bar to move up and down and from side to side. The end of the bar (9) has a hook with a lock to engage with a flexible strip pivoted to the stem of the boat and fitted with rubber shock absorbing balls to prevent damage.
