PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply system that supply toner highly accurately without detriment to the advantage of toner supply by a powder pump, extend the life of the powder pump, prevents toner from clogging a toner carrying passage, and satisfactorily detect the complete consumption of toner and to provide an image forming device. SOLUTION: The toner supply system has a sub-hopper 61 that temporarily stores toner to be supplied from a toner storage container 80 to a developing device 60, a first toner carrying means that carries toner from the toner storage container 80 to the sub-hopper 61, and a second toner carrying means that carries toner from the sub-hopper 61 to the developing device 60. The first toner carrying means and the second toner carrying means differ in toner carrying system. One uses a powder pump 70 an the other uses screws 64, 65, and 66. |
