<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial waveguide converter which can maintain conversion characteristics favorably and also is suitable to widen the band of used frequency. SOLUTION: A first conductive pattern 6, a ground pattern 7, and a microstrip line 8 are patterned on one side of a dielectric substrate 3, and a second conductive pattern 9 and a ground pattern 10 are patterned on the other side of the dielectric substrate 3, and both ground patterns 7 and 10 are connected conductively via a through hole 11. The dielectric substrate 3 is held with a pair of casings 1 and 2 having cavities 1a and 2a, and first and second conductive patterns 6 and 9 demarcated by both cavities 1a and 2a are arranged within a waveguide conduit 5. Both conductive patterns 6 and 9 cross each other within the waveguide conduit 5 thereby constituting a mode conversion part, and the waves inputted into the waveguide conduit 5 are converted from a waveguide mode into a microstrip line mode when passing the mode conversion part of the dielectric substrate 3, and is led out of the waveguide conduit 5, passing through the microstrip 8 as it is.</p> |
