<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a board which is easily mounted on a printed circuit board while deflection of the printed circuit board is prevented. SOLUTION: Solder tails 8 of multiple terminals 4 are aligned in a plurality of rows on the outside of a rear surface 3a of an insulating housing 3, extending toward a fitting 3b of the insulating housing 3. On the side edge of the solder tail 8 of the row closest to the insulating housing 3, an engagement protrusion 10, which protrudes on a soldering surface 11 side of a printed circuit board 2 to engage with a hole edge 15A of a through hole 15, is so provided as its maximum width section is smaller than the aperture of the through hole 15. The engagement protrusion is triangular, comprising a horizontal edge 12 and a tapered edge 13 that obliquely extends toward the tip from the end of the horizontal edge 12. On the side edge opposed to such side edge as the engagement projection 10 is provided, one-side projection 16 which shifts the engagement projection 10 to the outside of the through hole 15 is so provided as to contact the inner surface of the through hole 15.</p> |
