JUNCTION STRUCTURE OF FLEXIBLE WIRING BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flexible wiring board from being folded in the vicinity of a junction part between the wiring board and a liquid crystal display panel, and to prevent the connection terminal of the wiring board from being disconnected. SOLUTION: A fold preventing member 29 consisting of resin is formed on the projected end face of a projection part 22a projected from a common substrate 23 of a segment substrate 22. A connection terminal formed on a part which is not covered with a cover film 35 stuck to the wire forming surface of a base film 32 out of the flexible wiring board 31 is connected with the surface of the projection part 22a through an anisotropic conductive adhesive 41. When the wiring board 31 is folded together with a fold preventing reinforcement film 44 stuck from the outer surface of the cover film 35 to the lower surface of the projection part 22a, the connection terminal of the wiring board 31 in the vicinity of the left end face of the adhesive 41 can be prevented from being folded due to fold preventing cooperative action between the member 29 and the film 44.
