PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having sufficient terminal strength. SOLUTION: Terminal electrodes 2, 3 are baked electrodes on a ceramic element 1. The terminal electrodes 2, 3 comprise a first metal constituent, a second metal constituent, and a glass constituent. The first metal constituent has a lower melting point than that of the second metal constituent. The glass constituent has a lower softening point than the melting point of the second metal constituent.
