PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector capable of surely preventing water from entering a contact point between terminal fittings. SOLUTION: The waterproof connector comprises a female housing 2 and a male housing 3 which engage with each other. The male housing 3 comprises a body part 15 which houses a female terminal, a jacket part 23, and a packing 39. The jacket part 23 comprises a plurality of peripheral walls 24 and walls 50. The wall 50 is provided with a notch 52. A projection 53a is provided at such inner edge as closer to the packing 39 of the notch 52. The projection 53A protrudes from such inner edge as closer to the packing 39 of the notch 52 toward the female housing. The projection 53a is disposed between the notch 52 and the packing 39. One end 39a of the packing 39 is positioned between the projection 53a and the body part 15.
