PURPOSE: A split type indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to improve productivity and to be easily transported, installed and removed. CONSTITUTION: An indoor unit comprises an upper coil part(10) having an evaporator, a re-heater, a humidifier, and refrigerating components assembled in a frame comprising vertical frames(11) and horizontal frames(12) made of hot dip galvanized steel pipes strong against corrosion and assembled with bolts to form the frame; a lower blower part(20) having a blower and automatic control equipments assembled in a frame comprising vertical frames(21) and horizontal frames(22) made of hot dip galvanized steel pipes and a base(23); a front outside panel, a rear outside panel and side outside panels assembled to a front side, a rear side and sides of the assembly of the upper coil part and the lower blower part; and outside corner parts assembled to the vertical frames of the upper coil part and the lower blower part to improve appearance and to function as an auxiliary frame. The vertical frames have extending parts to reinforce rigidity of the frame. Upper sides and lower sides of the upper coil part and the lower blower part are opened for air to pass. |
